We live in the Vysočina highlands

We live in the Vysočina highlands, in the little village of Třeštice, just a short way from Roštejn Castle. That is where our kennel’s name comes from – the castle was originally called Rosenstein (rose stone), later shortened to Rostein.

About 10 kilometres from Třeštice lies the enchanting town of Telč, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A visit to us can easily be combined with a lovely day trip.

Our animal family

Before we got our bully girl Fionka, we had a golden retriever, Elinka, and an Airedale terrier, Alisha, from Komáří Vížka. From our own breeding, we kept the girl Amy Minie from litter “A”.

These days, alongside our bullies, we also have a Sphynx cat named Frída and two leeches, Julie and Žofka. We are planning to get a chameleon, still without a name. If we could, we’d have a whole zoo.

Our approach to breeding

For us, breeding is not just a hobby, but a way of life and a long-term commitment.

We take pride in breeding in a home environment, without outdoor kennels. Our girls and their puppies live with us as part of the family, among people, in an ordinary household setting. Thanks to this, the puppies are socialised from the very first days of life, used to everyday stimuli, children, cats and the daily bustle. We actively follow the KABT club’s health recommendations, the development of the breed and modern approaches to responsible breeding.
