What data we process and why
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we process the data you enter – your name, e-mail, optionally your phone number and the text of your message. It is used solely so that we can reply to your question or your puppy enquiry.
- Purpose: handling your message and communicating with you.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps taken prior to entering into a contract at your request.
- Retention period: for the time needed to handle your message and then for a reasonable period for any follow-up communication; after that we delete the data.
We send the form data by e-mail to our mailboxes via our e-mail provider (WEDOS Internet, a.s.). We do not pass it on to anyone else and do not use it for marketing.
Cookies and traffic measurement (Google Analytics)
The website uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) for anonymous traffic measurement – how many people visit the site, which pages they view and so on. It helps us improve the website.
These analytics cookies are activated only after your consent, which you give in the cookie bar. Until you consent (or if you decline), Google Analytics is not loaded at all and no analytics cookies are stored.
- Purpose: website traffic statistics.
- Legal basis: your consent.
- Recipient: Google (data may also be processed outside the EU in accordance with Google’s safeguards).
Essential technical cookies, without which the website cannot function (e.g. remembering your cookie choice), are used even without consent – they are not used for tracking.
Withdrawing cookie consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on Cookie settings (you’ll also find the link in the website footer). After withdrawal, Google Analytics stops loading. You can also delete any previously stored cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
In relation to your personal data, under the GDPR you have in particular the right:
- to access your data and obtain a copy,
- to have inaccurate data corrected,
- to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”),
- to restrict processing and to object,
- to withdraw a given consent (without affecting processing before withdrawal),
- to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
