Nature played a trick on us – Arwen is Alvin

Up to now everything had gone almost ideally, perhaps a little too much so, and fate sadly reshuffled our cards very quickly.

Fortunately, it is nothing tragic, nothing life-threatening. While weighing the puppies and checking their dewclaws, we discovered to our astonishment that Arwen, who was meant to stay with us for breeding, is a boy. Sadly it happens, you cannot fool nature, we should have waited a little longer.

Luckily the puppies could not care less, and that is what matters most.

We got into breeding partly because we wanted to expand our programme and keep one girl in a different colour variant than our Fee, specifically a red one. We therefore sadly have to cancel the reservation for the little girl Amy with our prospective owner, which we honestly regret enormously, and we do apologise.

So Amy Minie will stay with us for breeding.

The side effect of the whole bully-bombshell episode is that we now have an unreserved boy, who has been given the name Alvin (just as our friend Pavel wished). Hopefully we will soon find a new human for him.

Above all, we wish all the puppies good health and a happy life with their humans.
